Clean Energy Zone Doors Open

Founded in 2012, the Clean Energy Zone, housed in Ryerson University’s Centre for Urban Energy (CUE), is an incubator focused on clean, sustainable energy innovations including electric vehicles, renewable energy, energy storage and distribution, microgrids and net-zero city building. The Zone brings researchers, students and industry partners together to commercialize sustainable solutions that address societal needs and provide real environmental, social and economic impact.

As part of Green Energy Doors Open, an annual showcase of sustainable energy initiatives across Canada, the Clean Energy Zone is opening its doors to the public. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and mingle with Clean Energy Zone companies working on leading-edge products and services for the energy sector, as well as learn about how to join the Zone and commercialize their idea.
