Event Hosts

What is an Event Host?

Any business, organization, homeowner, university campus or community group with a sustainable energy project/initiative they want to promote can participate as an event host. During the Green Energy Doors Open showcase, event hosts organize their own open house events to showcase their sustainable energy advancements and successes and invite their network and the community to learn more about what they do. If you have a sustainable energy project, initiative, technology and/or facility that you would like to promote, join us as an event host!

Why Host?

There are a number of benefits to hosting your own event. You’ll not only be promoting yourself, but promoting sustainable initiatives in your own community. As a trail blazer in the relatively small but growing sustainable energy industry, you have already helped Ontario become the green energy powerhouse that it should be, but by hosting an event you can show your neighbours just how easy it is to be green.

How We’ll Help:

We would like to remind our event hosts that entry to all events will be free of charge for attendees. However, with the support of our OSEA partners and event sponsors, a complete package of materials and services is available to help our event organizers create the best possible events in their communities. Stay tuned as we fill out the exact hosting package, but here’s some stuff that will be included:Read more
